Global trade body The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has appointed new Training Manager Claudia Schimansky to expand its professional training and deliver the inaugural Air Charter Essentials course, available to both members and non-members of The ACA.
The ACA’s Air Charter Essentials course provides a comprehensive introduction to essential aviation knowledge, focused on the air charter industry. It is ideal for new starters or individuals keen to embark on a career in the air charter industry. Schimansky will work alongside Julie Ellis who has been promoted to Head of Training.
Schimansky’s aviation career spans three decades, starting as cabin crew with European Aviation Air Charter before joining air charter brokerage, Air Partner. She has also held senior broker, leadership and training roles in the UK, Germany, Italy, France and the UAE, reflecting her lifelong love of travel, culture and people, as well as dedication to quality management and people development.

The ACA has three new Air Charter Essentials courses scheduled for 2026: Wednesday 04 March (London, UK); Tuesday 21 April (Messe Friedrichshafen, Germany) and Wednesday 14 October (London, UK).
